Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to read the journal, submit papers and take part in our events. This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
• Text and buttons meet the AA contrast ratios in both light and dark mode.
• The whole site is available in English and Hindi, and Hindi text is marked so screen readers read it correctly.
• Every form field has a label, and errors say what to fix.
• Moving content can be paused, and animations are switched off if your device asks for reduced motion.
• The countdown to deadlines gives the date in words instead of announcing every second.

Known limitations

Some older PDFs of published papers may not be fully accessible. If you need a paper in another format, write to us and we will help.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this website is hard to use, write to air@aerofederation.org with the page address and what went wrong. See also AFI's accessibility statement.
