Privacy

The Journal of AEROFEDERATION is run by Aero Federation of India. AFI's Privacy Policy applies to this website. This page explains what the journal in particular does with your information.

What we collect

• Your account: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), language, and the profile details you add: institution, department, designation, author category, phone number, ORCID iD and billing details.
• Your submissions: abstracts, manuscripts, blinded copies, revisions, responses to reviewers and the declarations you make.
• Payments: the fees you pay and their invoices. Card and bank details are handled by the payment gateway, Razorpay, and never reach our servers.
• Event registrations and contact messages: the name, email address and other details you give us.
• Usage: the number of times each published paper is viewed and downloaded, counted without identifying you.

Why we use it

To run the review and publication of your paper, to take payments and issue invoices, to send you emails about your submissions and registrations, and to publish the papers that are accepted. Published papers show the authors' names, affiliations and ORCID iDs. Reviewers never see who the authors are.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile at any time. From your dashboard you can download a copy of your data and ask for your account to be deleted. We keep the records of published papers and payments that the law or scholarly practice requires us to keep.
